  • More power than stock systems, aggressive ignition curves and dyno-proven power gains
  • Immediately fires the first cylinder on kickers and reduces “kickback” and strain on electric start systems
  • Electronically adjustable advance allows timing based on engine modifications, operating conditions and gasoline; also utilizes stock VOES unit when applicable
  • Sealed electronic protection circuits protect from over-temperature, short circuits, coil failure and wiring errors
  • Fully adjustable rev limiter adjusts from 4000 to 8000 rpm; tach output accurate even at rev limits
  • Timing LED for static timing and diagnostic information
  • Can be used with single- or dual-plug heads (use suppression or spiral-core wires)
  • Spiral-core wires are recommended for maximum performance (do not use solid copper spark plug wires; they may cause interference with ignition system and accessories)
  • Entire unit fits under the point cover on 80” Evolution, Shovelhead Big Twin and Sportster models
  • Systems utilize 84-99 80” Evolution OEM pick-up rotor; on pre-84 models you will need to purchase OEM #32402-83 pick-up rotor or Part #2101-0025
  • Coils must have at least a 2 ohm primary resistance
  • Ignition systems, coils and plug wires sold separately
  • Ignition rotor includes bolt and lock washer
  • Made in the U.S.A.
NOTE: Single-fire systems must use single-fire coils with at least 2 ohms of resistance.

NOTE: If tach is inoperative after installation of the HI-4, you may require a tach adapter. The HI-4 tach output is compatible with ground-sensing tachs (including most OEM and aftermarket tachs), but some tachs require a high-voltage trigger pulse. In this case, install Crane tach adapter DS-242304.
